Asymptote Theory.
April 20, 2008
Seeing how my last post was rather EMOish, I’ve decided to write something else to clear the pessimism lingering around my blog. But as I write these sentences, I’ve realised that what I’m about to write is not all that bright and sunny either.
Utterly inspired by CLARA XINYUE and her ASYMPTOTE post, I’ve decided to pen down something about it too. And unfortunately, its related to my previous post. So much for my effort to steer away from all the SADNESS. Anyway, I guess life is much like a graph tending towards a asymptote. You strive for something and no matter how close you get to it, you just never seem to able to really grasps it in your hands. That’s always the case unless something drastic happens. Take a 1/X graph for example. When will my ‘+1′ appear before I get to cut the axis? I don’t feel too bright and sunny these days.
So what’s your take on life now? Is your glass of water half full or half empty?
On a sidenote, the Cadbury chocolate ad totally cracks me up. You know it too. It goes “Wouldn’t it be nice if the world is chocolate?… Changing gear would soon become a problem…” Yup, and then the driver proceeds to eat the handbreak thingy. So if everything is made of chocolate, doesn’t that mean they can eat each other too? lOL.

Dude. if everything was made of chocolate, we would just all need to eat one meal, then we can just continue living eating our poop since it tastes like chocolate too. the fallback is that if we live in a hot country like SG, we’ll all melt into this huge puddle of chocolate river. hmmm i said “puddle of river” oh well.

never thought of it that way. but it does make sense. a lot of sense in fact.
