Dazed.

I seriously need to take things more seriously.

I guess I’m still in the post “O”s mood.

And the fact that I’m not going to have four whole years to finally get into the mood to really study and prepare for the actual exams that’s gonna really matter, as it was in Seconday sch, isn’t making things any better.

I guess like what DX said in his blog, it’s a wake up call.

And for the first time, I’m sure I’m gonna flung really bad for my CTs.

And I ain’t gonna blame anyone because it’s all my own fault.

Bad time management, laziness and a lacklustre attitude towards everything.

I’m absolutely not looking forward to getting my papers, but I’ll still have to.

Which brings me to this quote my primary school teacher once told my class after we did badly for a test,

A Phoenix rises from its ashes.

It’s time to work hard. Time is not our side.

Meanwhile, here’s a song. Ignore the irrelevant lyrics, the main gist of it all is the wake up call part. Just these 3 words.

Red and Green?

3 down, 3 more papers to go.

And with that, I think I’m really gonna FAIL my chem.

On the bright side, at least I’ll be prepared for it.

Meanwhile, I can’t help stop laughing when I see the M1 advertisement.

You know, the one with the talking plant and multi handle mug.

Well, if you pay close attention, as pointed out by my brother much to my amazement, those three ‘idiotic‘ guys are always wearing ties.

And what colour are their ties?

RED AND GREEN stripes.

Don’t they remind you of something?

They sure remind me of something.

Not to mention those mugs being RED AND GREEN as well.

EN ARMONIA I. The end to a beautiful beginning.

It’s over. And somehow, it feels funny. I can still remember as if it had happened yesterday, when Gladys told us to record down this date, 9th of June in our calenders cause it’s our first ever concert in the ESPLANADE! And to think it ended 24 hours ago, just seems unreal. And to think this is going to be one of the very last times we get to perform with the seniors just seems depressing.

Time flies. 6 months flew by. Seriously, life in Harmoc is gonna be so different without the seniors around when they step down… :(

Back to my optimistic self, yesterday was a great day. Wonderful performance. And a day to be carved deeply in my memories. Still really tired, but I’m all smiles. So more posts and photos to come…

Hope this all doesn’t end with a full stop “.” but with a semi colon “;”

The end to a beautiful beginning.

en Armonia the PREVIEW

After 1/2 an hour of blog surfing in the sea of harmoc peoples’ blogs, and yes, i blog surf, i’ve noticed that they have practically stated everything under the sun there is to say about the preview concert but ONE thing. The air conditioner was conveniently turned off during our rehearsals. How could they have just chucked away the antagonizing few hours of practice? Though, ultimately, i have to admit that i did have fun. Loads in fact… And that the hours, days, weeks and months of practice was definitely worth it.

And then the question arises. Was the PREVIEW good? Well, to be frank, the preview was well, a PREVIEW. And it was definitely worth 5 bucks. No more no less. Well, it probably was worth a little more. 6 or 7? And this was all thanks to the people from Guitar for their awesome performance, and the Pipa player’s solo. And not that i’m insulting them because their performances only amounted to a few dollars more, but just that they had too short of a time to really add more value to our performance. They each only participated in one performance as a matter of fact. And with that, you can already conclude that we didn’t perform all that well for the PREVIEW.

But like i had once said, IT’S ALRIGHT TO MAKE ALL THE MISTAKES IN THE WORLD NOW COS THIS IS SO WE MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES FOR THE ESPLANADE CONCERT.

On a lighter note, listening to chinese instruments just make my itch to play the Guzheng again. Since i’ve picked up the harmonica, i’ve brutally neglected my guzheng. It’s just collecting dust right now being chucked away at a corner of my house. =X

Anyway, yesterday was still a great day. After the preview, and yes it’s a preview so i’m not gonna say it’s the concert, we went to KAP to have supper. While we waited for Molly aka Jasmine, we, the 2nd chromatic people crapped and joked. And it was funny making fun of ngiam and molly. And nope, we won’t get sick of it. Speaking of which, i’m glad i came to 2nd chro. It’s not too noisy like… So 2nd chro is well, funny at times, serious at times, lame at times, and just comfortable to be in. It’s the greatest example of a good section.

I’m…well, whatever you think I am

I love making comparisons. Ha. Call me someone that’s judgemental. I don’t really care. I already said I was superficial. And I did mention I was someone observant. Lol.

Anyway, recently, I have been TOTALLY HOOKED to HANA KIMI JAPAN. It’s at a totally different level as compared to the Taiwan version. Way better acting, and definitely funnier. And as much as I love ELLA, MAKI HORIKITA is much prettier and in a way, more natural an actress? She’s cool, cooler than a cucumber.

And for you gals out there, the guys on the show are a mile more handsome than those in the TW version. Trust me.

So meanwhile, here’s a short clip to enjoy.
