Motivation.

Well, it seems like the holidays wouldn’t be extended for another week in the end. For more information, check out channelnewsasia.com. It’s just so depressing for me to put it here. I even feel light headed as I write this. Then again, I’m not dismissing the fact that some time this week, some otherworldly being may very well bestow upon us with a miracle. If only.

Enough of this nonsense already. Seriously, as the prospect of an extended break grows slimmer, I’m urging everyone to stop pinning their hopes on something so uncertain. And I’m hoping I can fully convince myself of this too, and SOON. Because facing the facts, we’re really running out of time. The common tests are just a stone drop away. So it’s probably wiser to prepare for the worst, than to be optimistic about something that probably isn’t going to happen anytime soon. In economics, it would mean the oppurtunity costs you’re incurring would be too high, so much so that your marginal costs are going to outweigh your marginal benefits. So why take the risk? When it comes to studying, take the conventional Singaporean route.  KIASU and KIASI are key.

On this very last week of the holidays, I suppose not much can change now can it? But if it were to make any difference, here’s some luck  for everyone, be it for your CTs, or in your last minute attempt to cram chapters and topics in your already saturated brain. Let’s do this! And as the saying goes, it’s never too late. Well, hopefully not.
